MyPeriod Log ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information within our app, your rights as a user, and the choices you have regarding your data.
MyPeriod Log is a period tracking and health journaling app that allows users to record information such as menstrual cycle, temperature, weight, flow, symptoms, mood, and sexual activity.
All processing and calculations are performed locally on your device. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data with external servers.
All data entered into MyPeriod Log (including cycle logs, mood, symptoms, and related entries) is stored only on your device.
We do not transmit your data to our servers or to any third party by default.
MyPeriod Log does not require any device permissions beyond basic functionality (for example, local storage access for saving data).
MyPeriod Log may integrate certain third-party services to improve app performance and user experience. These include:
None of these services receive personally identifiable or sensitive health data.
You can disable analytics and attribution sharing at any time via in-app settings.
Our processing of data, when applicable, is based on:
Because most processing is local and offline, no data leaves your device unless you explicitly enable third-party analytics.
All personal data is retained only on your device for as long as you choose to use the app.
When you delete the app or its data manually, all locally stored information is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
We do not maintain backup copies or cloud versions of your personal data.
MyPeriod Log does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone.
MyPeriod Log does not share your individual information with third parties, except when you explicitly choose to send anonymized reports (for example, crash analytics).
You have the right to know whether your data is being shared or sold. In MyPeriod Log's case, it is not.
You can request a copy or summary of the personal data stored on your device by using the app's data export tools.
If any recorded data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can edit or update it directly within the app.
You can permanently delete all app data through the "Clear All Data" option in the settings menu. Once deleted, the data cannot be restored.
If you choose not to allow anonymous analytics data sharing, simply disable "Analytics & Diagnostics" in app settings. We will respect your choice immediately.
You have the right to be informed about what data is collected, how it is used, and whether it is shared or sold.
We will always provide this transparency within our Privacy Policy and in-app disclosures.
If you believe your data rights are not being respected, you may contact us or file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Our appointed Data Protection Officer ensures compliance with applicable data protection laws.
